The Open MPI Project is an open source MPI-2 implementation that is
developed and maintained by a consortium of academic, research, and
industry partners.
If you experience issues with this version of OpenMPI, the openmpi4
package is also available in SBo.
Optional dependency:
PMI=yes|no (default: no), requires slurm
WARNING: OpenMPI 5 no longer supports 32 bit builds, use the
openmpi4 package instead.
Note: openmpi conflicts with the openmpi4 package, they should
not be installed simultaneously.
Note: openmpi conflicts with mpich. If you install both on the same
system, unexpected results may occur.
