lziprecover (Data recovery tool for lzipped files)
lziprecover is a data recovery tool and decompressor for files in
the lzip compressed data format (.lz). It's able to repair slightly
damaged files, recover badly damaged files from two or more copies,
extract data from damaged files, decompress files and test integrity
of files.
lziprecover Lziprecover also provides Forward Error Correction files
(.fec) that can be used to repair any kind of file, not only lzip
files. A fec file can be used as recovery record for a tar.lz archive.
Lziprecover can remove the damaged members from multimember files, for
example multimember tar.lz archives.
